If you're a regular Toronto Public Library user, you'll have to start dishing out a few cents for basic services like printing and photocopying soon. Toronto Public Libraries began offering free printing and photocopying services as an interim solution following the Oct. 28, 2023 cyberattack that disrupted its computer system, technology over 100 branches, and shut down its website for months. The library previously revealed that the attack is believed to have exposed the social insurance numbers, addresses, and names of employees dating back to 1998.
